Why we started Optimus Via
After decades working at the intersection of policy, technology, and business — from the White House to United Nations agencies to Silicon Valley — our founder Robert Palmer saw a pattern: European startups and SMEs had exceptional talent and ideas, but lacked the cross-Atlantic networks, strategic clarity, and operational rigor needed to scale internationally.
He assembled a team of senior operators — not career consultants — each with over 20 years of experience building and running businesses across technology, finance, manufacturing, and international development.
Headquartered in Rome and operating at the intersection of Europe and the United States, Optimus Via specializes in two things: accelerating startups and transforming SMEs. That focus is deliberate — it's how we deliver results, not just advice.
